Hi, I’m Elli-Jean Russell, the founder of Jean Marie.
Getting here wasn’t easy, but I couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead. I’ve had an eye for fashion for as long as I can remember (if you ask my mom, she’ll confirm). I’ve always styled things my own way, matching optional, and somehow, that turned into a vision worth sharing.
I really started to see the potential of my creativity in my senior year of high school, and with the constant support of friends and family, that idea slowly became something real. When things felt impossible, that support kept me going.
Jean Marie is about more than clothes. It’s about building community, helping people feel good in what they wear, and encouraging individuality. Sustainability is a huge part of that for me; I’ve been sewing and upcycling pieces since high school, refining my skills and designs along the way, which is why re-loved pieces will always have a place here.
The journey included COVID, college, and a lot of life in between, but it all led me right here... finally sharing what I love most with you.

We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 2 weeks after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
We cannot accept sale items or custom items for a return.
Are any purchases final sale?
